Bûche de Noël

There is only one place in Harrisonburg to get amazing food, mind blowing desserts, and out of this world service. Obviously I'm referring to the Joshua Wilton House. We made the very wise decision to order some desserts and savories from the Inn & Restaurant this year for Christmas. The cake we ordered made our evening unique and yummy. Apparently a Bûche de Noël cake is a traditional holiday dessert, and below are some photos that hardly do the talented pastry chef at JWH justice. Please spend time dining at this fine establishment in the New Year. It's worth it!

My friend Leah is patiently awaiting the birth of her second child.... hopefully the baby (gender unknown) will be making an appearance any second now! I stopped by last week, and snapped a few photos of camera shy Anya who is eagerly awaiting Christmas (and a baby sibling). These folks are good friends, and we can't wait to meet baby K!
