Sex and the City or BBC World News

It's funny that a choice like that even exists. I haven't posted or uploaded photos in a few weeks, and so I thought it was about time. While waiting for my photos to finish uploading I perused my selection of 10 cable channels and found that I must choose between Sarah Jessica Parker or the crisis in Sudan.

So there is this guy with tuberculosis who flew around the world and exposed possibly hundreds of people to the disease. How awful must it be to hear your transatlantic flight from two weeks ago announced on the news? "You should be fine unless you sat in rows B-L of flight #3005 to Paris." I hope they interview this guy, I'd love to hear why he decided to see the world and if he knew that he was putting all of those people at risk.

In other news, I can't understand why Sex and the City was ever popular. It's incredibly obnoxious.

I'd like to find more time to take photos, but it's difficult. It's difficult to get much done after a long day at work, grocery shopping, walking the dog, and putting something together for dinner. I'm not complaining, I'm just admitting my lazy attitude about life sometimes. When will I find time to do the 100 things I want/need to do this year? I'll generate that list of 100 things in my next posting, really.

This just in: my photos finished uploading.

The first few photos are from a photo shoot of military related themes; enough said about that. Next are some photos of a trip to D.C. we took with friends the other week, and I had fun with reflections at the Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum. I've also included a few shots from a photo shoot I did over at the Blue Ridge Design Studio for their new website. If you'd like to see all of those photos go here: http://www.tabblo.com/studio/stories/view/257998/

I also decided to include Millie & Fritz because I'm obsessed with their cuteness. I mean they are cute!

Artful Dodger Happy Hour

If you are ever in Harrisonburg, check out The Artful Dodger any weeknight for happy hour. They have super cheap eats, drinks, and a fun atmosphere. Oh, and did I mention that they banned smoking inside? The artwork and photography on display this month is top notch... it's not just a bunch of framed out of focus digi-prints as usual. It's like I always say, "just because something is crappy doesn't make it art"...

Now one thing that is crappy is iphoto's photo effects. I put a vignette filter on my images out of sheer boredom, and I am now to lazy to upload the original photos. Sorry, try to ignore it please.

The Artful Dodger is a local coffee shop/bar, and it recently banned smoking. So now I get to hang out there. It still has cool cat atmosphere though, look! I loved the black light glowing wait staff, and the retro available light that makes for good portraits. I should remember this.

Some more photos of my co-workers...

I've been trying to photograph people, animals, and objects everyday. Today was object heavy, but Fritz was looking through the window wondering why I wasn't photographing an animal. Fritz is smart.

paris hilton

Some pictures for Don...

Tabblo: donkey

Some photos of my friend Don's miniature donkey... the only name we've come up with so far is "Ass Face" and something tells me that won't stick. I think we should call him "Paris Hilton", because she's an ass.   ... See my Tabblo>
