Last minute wedding

Chris & Megan got married on a beautiful July day in Asheville at the Grove Park Inn. I got the call exactly a week before, and jumped at the chance to photograph their wedding day. I knew Chris from way back, and had heard only wonderful things about his soon to be bride. Below are a few photos from the day. I couldn't be happier for this wonderful couple!

dog days of summer...

the smell of chlorine, the comforting sight of panting dogs, the high breeze felt only in the branches of a secret fort, and the sun rising on my dining room walls. glorious summer heat, miserable puddles of sweat, and unlikely inspiration.
