I'll admit it, I'm afraid of film. It has been years since I relied on it, but I miss it. I miss having to wait to see my images. I miss that Christmas morning feeling, I miss how it takes my breath away.... Roll number one.

Julia's Bridal Portraits

I can't wait to share images from Will & Julia's wedding yesterday. In the meantime I'm squealing with delight that I get to share these bridal photos. We had a wonderful time taking these. I do maybe 3 bridal shoots a year, so we went a little crazy. So much fun! Perfect weather, perfect lighting... just me and Julia wondering around my favorite little mansion in Maryland. :-)

All shot with either my Nikon 50mm 1.4 or 85mm 1.4... almost always wide open! Available light only, camera raw, 5-10 second adjustments in Lightroom. Surprisingly those big window shots are nearly straight out of the camera... thanks to the 85mm.
