Will & Julia

I cannot believe how many photos I am posting from my shoot with Julia & Will over the weekend. But I had a really hard time narrowing down! Not only are these two really cool & fascinating people.. but their story as a couple starts a long time ago, when they were both just kids. So we went back in time & visited Julia's childhood home, hung out in Fairfax a bit (where they have lived their entire lives), stopped by the couple's soon to be new home, and ended the day with some beer on the porch. Oh, and how cute is Annie the dog?

I am so excited to photograph their wedding in September, and I'd like to thank Pam at A Trendy Wedding in advance for all of her amazingness. She & Julia really are putting together a gorgeous day... stay tuned!

Quick centerpiece idea...

I was craving a change in my dining room, but didn't want to buy anything new and didn't have more than 2 seconds to spend on the "project". Voila! A sophisticated and scholarly centerpiece thrown together in mere seconds. And the fake grass bookends remind me that spring is just around the corner!
