Be Mine

Happy Valentine's Day! I posted some of these photos last night but decided to extend the love a little bit!

Lauren & Jonathan had a perfect Valentine's wedding. They simply couldn't be more in love and they were amazing to work with.

Considering the freezing temps in Virginia, we should all be jealous of these two... as they are going somewhere warm & tropical for their honeymoon.

Congrats to the happy couple and their beautiful family & friends! I really enjoyed taking the photos below. What a great group of people... I want to move to California.

James turns 9.

I always love visiting with my friend Courtney, and today was extra special because her son James is celebrating his 9th birthday. Little baby William is almost 7 months old... seems like just yesterday he was a tiny newborn. And Emma is still overflowing with fun nonstop energy, all while coordinating pink fashion accessories. Twolu the dog is simply eating lots of snow.... as I type even more snow is coming down. The other day I was at a coffee shop and a sweet grandmother looked up at me and playfully asked, "Do we live in the North Pole?" I told her that I was beginning to think it a real possibility.

Blizzard 2010

I have seen more snow in the last 2 months than I have ever seen in my entire life. It has been amazing, and though I love taking long walks in the snow in the freezing cold (one of my favorite things) I never knew I could be so sick of seeing my world covered in 2 feet of this beautiful glistening white stuff. I need spring to get here before I go nutso. The photos below were taken from my kitchen window, thanks to the inspiring reflection of our glass table top.

Longing for a 60 degree day, but enjoying the view from inside my snow globe until the glorious warmth hits.
